Holy Angels Hospice Orphanage

Here are some more photos of the children in Tony's orphanage. Tony (see photo below) does not have enough financial sponsors and every month is a financial struggle.

My goal is to bring enough money for Tony to buy a new electricity generator with me when I go on my next trip to Haiti in April. Electricity service is not reliable and homes need a back-up generator. Electricity, if it comes on at all, comes on at night. During my time in Haiti, out of seven days, there was electricity for about one evening. A generator costs about $2,500. So far, I have raised about $1,000.

Also, Holy Angels is in desparate need of medical supplies and regular supplies. I am hoping that I will be able to collect some of them before I leave on my next trip. (My daughter Teddy is coming with me, so her two suitcases are going to be dedicated to Tony's orphanage supplies):

  • Latex Gloves

  • Cling Rolled Bandages

  • Antibiotic Cream

  • Hydrocortisone Cream

  • Disposable Diapers (size 6 - the largest)

  • Soy Baby Formula

  • 6 Fr. Pediatric Feeding Tubes

  • 12 Inverter Batteries

  • 6.5 Diesel Generator

  • Canned Meats, Fish, Tuna, Ham

  • Boy's Sunday Clothing & Sandals

I am hoping that if enough people read my blog and see the photos that they will come foward and assist.
