Meet Luwanna, whom I call Super Granny! Luwanna, please forgive me for posting these photos on my blog...but they are priceless!Luwanna comes from Indiana and spends a lot of time in Haiti. She and I were roommates while we were staying at Barbara's village.
Luwanna cared for two babies...Juan and Maki-Lynn. I do not know how she did it because caring for my two (Tamarah & Erna) about wore me out and I am about 30 years junior.
We stayed in the same room...three adult women...my daughter Teddy (7), Tamarah (14 months), and four babies --- Juan (2 mos), (Maki-Lynn 2-1/2 mos), John (2 mos), and Erna (6 weeks)...
Luwanna slept with two babies on a twin bed. It seemed that once one baby finally had gotten his/her night feeding...the next one would wake up.
I absolutely adore these two photos of Luwanna.
