Update...

I bought my ticket today to fly to Haiti over the Christmas vacation. It cost $850...a fortune!!

I am going to be in Haiti for one week during the Thanksgiving week and for two weeks during Christmas/New Years.

My kids are begging to go with me, but with these prices, I can barely afford to fly by myself. I will be bringing Tamarah with me, but she can still travel as a lap child. It will be great for the nannies at the orphanage to see how big Tamarah has gotten. She is really eating non-stop!

We are planning a Haitian Children's & Women's Human Rights Conference in San Diego on March 7, 2008. I have secured two speakers already and have gotten two "maybe" speakers.
